What do we do?

We test all components of the hot melt equipment before dis-assembly.

• Test all sensors and check wiring.
• Test heaters and other electrical components.
• Test pump and output.
• We disassemble the equipment.
• Parts that are badly charred are put in an oven and sandblasted or polished.
• We replace damaged components and check threads.
• New RTD’s and Thermostats are installed.
• All O-rings replaced with new.
• All insulation is replaced with new.
• All sheet metal panels are painted.
• Tanks are re-coated with a high quality non stick material if necessary.
• Machines are pressure tested with hoses and guns with your adhesive.
• Gun and hose cord-sets are cleaned.

FoamMelt Services

Mectec has provided the industry with Nordson FoamMelt service and parts on all Nordson machines ranging from:

As you may know, FoamMelt Systems don`t always work they way you want them too and can be very frustrating to troubleshoot. Don’t panic, we can help!

FoamMelt systems need proper setup and tweaking in order to maintain proper foam density. We have yet to come across a FoamMelt system that was not repairable.

Rental Units

Mectec offers rental machines to keep your production running smoothly during rebuilds. We also offer rentals on short term for a maximum of one month with an option to purchase. Any rental fees will be waived upon purchase.

Custom Solutions

At Mectec, we can provide you with turnkey solutions for your application.

What does this mean?

In most applications we can use off the shelf products such as applicators, hoses, timers, and gear to line options, but in some rare instances, you may require a custom made gun. Whether it’s a sift proof, coating or foaming application, we have the knowledge and equipment for all your gluing needs.

Custom guns are made in house by our machinist and are reasonably priced.
